Prepping for lecture 2 - on Research Design and Secondary data analysis.
The latter part will be based on an AC Nielsen dataset that I shall putup on the blackboard tomorrow. Kindly download onto your laptops before coming to class. And bring your laptops to class too.
Excel toolpak can be installed easily (for licensed copies of MS office only, though) from here.
We'll only be using Excel pivot tables for lecture 2, from what I envisage.
Meanwhile, we're gonna be having a guest speaker early in November. She recently confirmed her schedule. She's the VP for qualitative research at India's leading independent MKTR agency. More details will be putup formally on blackboard later.
Wasn;t easy getting a speaker when there are 4 sections involved. The talk will be held only once and attendance will be 'sort of' optional. Details later.
